HOW TO PREPARE
At DRB Homes - Washington Metro, we are excited to collaborate with you and create a personalized space in your new home. While we understand that browsing online has its limitations, we highly encourage you to explore the design options we offer before your design studio appointment. This will give you a better understanding of our offerings and help you make informed decisions.
If you come across something you like or have any questions, we recommend taking notes or saving the information for reference during your individual appointment. It can be helpful to bring the following items with you:
Photos of homes you may have toured: If you have visited any of our model homes or have pictures of homes that inspire you, bring them along. This can serve as a visual reference and help us understand your preferences.
Inspirational photos or your Pinterest board: If you have a collection of images that showcase your vision for your future home, we would love to see them. Whether it's a particular style, color scheme, or design element, sharing your ideas will aid us in creating a space that reflects your taste.
Fabric, textures, or paint colors you love: If there are specific fabrics, textures, or paint colors that you are drawn to, please bring samples. This will assist us in finding options that align with your preferences and create the desired atmosphere in your home.
Marked-up floor plans or renderings: If you have made any notes or modifications regarding electrical, lighting, or phone/cable locations, bring them with you. This will ensure that we consider all your requirements during the design process.
WHAT TO EXPECT
To ensure that your appointment at the design studio is productive and efficient, we kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes early. This will allow us to maximize the time dedicated to your selections. We understand that unexpected events can occur, and if you are running late or unable to make it to your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. In such cases, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
The duration of your design studio appointment may vary depending on the communities and home plans we offer. Typically, appointments can last anywhere from one to three hours.
Please be aware that specific policies may limit the addition or removal of items after certain construction phases. While we make every effort to accommodate our homeowners' preferences, these cut-off stage restrictions may impose limitations. Time plays a crucial role in the selection and finalization of your choices. The availability of certain materials is subject to change. We strive to keep a wide range of options available, but please keep in mind that certain materials may become unavailable or require substitution. Our team will do their best to inform you about any changes and provide suitable alternatives.

What at the showroom hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are an appointment only showroom.
When will my appointment be booked?
Our design team will be reaching out approximately 30 days prior to home start to schedule your design studio appointment.
How long will the appointment last?
An average design studio appointment will last about two hours.
Can I bring additional guests?
We kindly request that guest be limited to who is listed on contract. Real estate agents are not required to attend the design studio appointment but are more than welcome to attend. For all other guests please inquire with our design team when booking your design studio appointment.
